Dr Johnny Walker, CEO Global Diagnostics, and John Lacy, Head of Development, traveled to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain in November of last year (2008), as the sole healthcare representative of the Irish Trade Mission to the region.  The Trade Mission was lead by the Irish Trade Minister, Mary Coughlan. 

In addition to attending a number of Trade Mission Events, Dr Walker and Mr Lacy visited representatives from several public and private hospitals and healthcare facilities, including the King Hamad General Hospital in Bahrain and Tawam Hospital in Al Ain.
