Global Diagnostics provides ultrasound services on behalf of NHS commissioning groups from 49 sites across the UK. The services provide local access to high quality sonography sessions for primary care physicians allowing patients the choice to access care closer to home in a primary care setting.
A full list of our ultrasound sites is provided here. We will continue to expand the range of locations and are interested to talk to CCGs, super practices or federations of GPs who may be interested in local commissioning of GP services.

Private Imaging Services
Global Diagnostics provides imaging services for private patients from our centres in Norwich, Northampton and Stoke. Enjoying relationships with all of the major health insurers our patient engagement team will be happy to organise an appointment at one of our centres at a time and day that suits.

David Sheehan is the Managing Director of the Global Diagnostics service across UK and Ireland.
Having joined Centric Health eight years ago shortly after the acquisition of Global Diagnostics, David has worked across the UK, Ireland and formerly Australian teams to drive the business growth with our local talented management groups.
David holds a BA (Mathematics, Economics) and MA (Economics) from University College Dublin.
Sue Mcleod Country Manager
Sue joined the Global Diagnostics UK team in September 2016. Sue is an experienced healthcare professional who started her training as a nurse and most recently was the Divisional Manager of the Medicine and Emergency Care Team at Northampton General Hospital . Sue has 27 years of NHS experiences gained in operational service management roles across the East Midlands health economy working across primary care, to secondary / tertiary care.
Sue has deep experiences of community services including radiology, cardiac services, surgical management and a real track record of system re-design.
Sue's commitment is to high quality patient care, supported by strong governance.
Catherine Tough Radiology Services Manager
Catherine joined the Global Diagnostics team UK in Sept 2015.
She is an experienced Radiographer with over 9 years MRI radiography experience working in a variety of healthcare settings.
Catherine previously worked as a manager of a multi-modality private imaging centre providing X-Ray, US and MRI services to both private and NHS patients. This has given Catherine experience in business development, staff management, process efficiencies, CQC and regulatory compliance.
Catherine has recently completed a PgCert in Leadership and Management in Healthcare and MSc in Medical Imaging
Nicki Samuels Clinic Services Manager
Nicki qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer in 1989 and has experience in General and MRI specialities and as Clinical Lecturer for Student Radiographers before joining Global Diagnostics in 2011.
Nicki initially joined Global Diagnostics as Clinical Governance Lead, but shortly afterwards became the Clinic Services Manager at The Global Clinic, Norwich, and service Lead for the community based ultrasound services in Cambridge and Essex.
Nicki has ample experience in the clinical and governance management of all clinical and radiology services in both the public and private sector, and has experience as Quality Manager for ISO 9001 Quality Systems, patient safety and risk management.
Her current role at The Global Clinic Norwich is to provide Clinical Leadership and seamless integration between the clinical, operational and business aspects of Global Diagnostics UK.
Les De-Lara IT Manager
Les spent 25 years in the Infantry in the British Army.
After Les left the Army he retrained and worked for 9 years as a field engineer in IT during which time he gained many IT certifications.
Les joined Global Diagnostics in 2008 bringing with him a wealth of all round IT experience.
Les provides day to day leadership in Information Governance and has recently gained a diploma in Risk Management.
Traci Dean RIS/PACS Project Manager
Traci trained as a Radiographer and worked in a clinical setting for 8 years before moving into managerial, operational and project management roles.
She has worked in both CT and MRI departments and has managed Ultrasound, DXA and X-Ray services across the company.
Traci is currently overseeing the implementation of a new Radiology Information System which will benefit all service users, increasing efficiency and improving patient experience.
Max Jennings Operational Site Manager Global Clinic Norwich
Max is a qualified nurse with 30 years' experience within the NHS and Private healthcare sectors.
He has extensive experience of operational management and care pathway design and development.
Max is responsible for the nursing team and the future development of the clinical services at the Global Clinic Norwich.
Lynsey Jones Finance Manager
Lynsey joined Global Diagnostics in February 2014. New to the healthcare industry, Lynsey is involved in both the Irish and UK businesses as well as Global's digital retinopathy screening business, Global Vision.
