Appointments

Appointments are available on a Thursday between the hours of 9am-7pm at The Global Clinic, or at other times by arrangement. A letter of referral is required from your GP or Consultant.

For appointment enquires please contact NORHAND on: 07757641361. An answerphone may be in operation - please leave a message detailing your name and telephone number so that we can return your call. Calls are monitored daily during office hours. A charge will be made for missed appointments where less than 24 hours notice has been given.

About Your Appointment

Your consultation will involve gathering information from you about your condition or injury. After this a physical examination will be carried out. It may be necessary to remove dressings or items of clothing.

Please allow up to 60 minutes for an initial consultation and 30 minutes for a follow-up consultation unless otherwise advised.

Payment

Payment will be required at the time of your consultation and can be made by cash or cheque.

Insurance

The practice is recognised by most major insurance companies. You will need to be able to provide details of your insurer and policy number when booking an appointment. Most insurance companies request that you contact them to arrange authorisation of treatment prior to your first consultation. Please note some insurance providers will not cover the costs of certain items required for your treatment (such as splints); these will be charged to you.
